APPLE MILK SHAKE




Here is a healthy milkshake that can be whipped up in a jiffy with minimum ingredients and absolutely minimum effort...

When you are in a hurry...when there is no time for breakfast...when you are too tired to fix yourself a meal...

this one is a lifesaver indeed...


INGREDIENTS


  • MILK - 300 ML
  • APPLE-1
  • SUGAR-3 TEASPOONS
  • ICE CUBES -FEW



METHOD

  • Chop  the apple into small pieces.
  • Beat it in a mixie with little milk till it is pureed.
  • Now ,add the rest of the milk,ice and sugar.
  • Beat in a mixie for a minute or more.
  • Now ,Strain the milkshake.
  • Serve chilled  in a tall glass.
  • You may add a teaspoon of Vanilla ice cream to enhance the taste.

DATES MILKSHAKE



Here is a healthy and tasty milkshake

filled with the goodness of fresh milk and iron rich dates...

This is a great drink for growing children, 

expectant mothers, anemic people,

the aged and the ailing as it is a source 

of instant energy and Iron and Calcium....



INGREDIENTS

  • DATES - 20-25
  • FULL FAT MILK - 1 LITER






METHOD

  • Deseed the dates.
  • Soak them in  a glass of hot milk for 15 to 20 minutes or till soft.
  • Grind them to a smooth paste.
  • Now ,add the remaining milk and beat well to a smooth and frothy shake.
  • Cool and serve chilled.

STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE







YOU CAN PREPARE THIS YUMMY,COOL TREAT IN 30 SECONDS FLAT.

Ingredients

Chopped strawberries        -1 cup
Full cream milk  (chilled)     -2 cups
Sugar                                    -1/2 cup


Method

Put all the ingredients in a blender and run for 30 seconds in high speed.
Serve the cool ,frothy milkshake immediately.

Strain it if you wish...
Personally I love to tiny ,chewy strawberry bits in my milkshake...
It is healthier too as it is a good source of soluble fiber.
